John-Henry Krueger Advances In Olympic Speedskating Event
The Peters Township native will skate in the next round on Saturday.
PETERS TOWNSHIP, PA - Short track speedskater John-Henry Krueger of Peters Township won his heat in the 1,000-meter competition Tuesday at the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang, South Korea.
Krueger advances to Saturday’s quarterfinals, in which he’ll compete against Sjinkle Kneght of the Netherlands, Semen Elistratov of Russia, Farrell Treacy of Great Britain and Ryosuke Sakazume of Japan. The top two skaters will qualify for the semifinals.
