The Meadows Casino Guests Helping to Improve Local Families’ Lives

Donation Made to CASA for Kids

The Meadows Casino recently presented a check for $6,904.26 to CASA for Kids, Inc. to speak up on behalf of the abused and neglected children in Washington County. CASA recruits, trains and supervise volunteers to become the voice of a hurt child. By becoming a CASA advocate, children have a chance to be in a forever home and not grow up in foster care.

The donations came from guests of the Meadows Casino over the last three months as part of The Meadows Casino’s Charity Box donation program. The program allows patrons to donate their TITO tickets (slot vouchers from the machines), table chips and cash into three designated boxes located at all of the casino entrances.

Initiated in 2014, the Charity Box program is one of many initiatives the casino undertakes throughout the year. Donations have been given to the Greater Washington County Food Bank, City Mission, Domestic Violence Services of Southwestern PA, Washington County Habitat for Humanity Western Pennsylvania Wounded Warriors, Canonsburg Hospital and The Washington Area Humane Society and many other important organizations throughout the community.
