New Peters Township High School To Include Pool
Find out here how much the new high school swimming pool will cost taxpayers.

PETERS TOWNSHIP, PA - The new Peters Township High school will have a swimming pool and district homeowners will have higher property taxes as a result.
To cover the $5 million costs of the pool, taxes will rise $1.57 mills over the next six years, the Observer-Reporter of Washington reported. For homes assessed as $300,000, that will mean an additional $21 a year in taxes.
School directos voted 6-3 to approve the project, with Jamison Hardy, William Merrell and Rebecca Bowman voting against the project.
