Nominate Your Favorite Teacher for a 'Pay it Forward' Bonus

The Peters Township Education Foundation invites residents to take part in its annual teacher appreciation contest to help it "Pay it Forward!"

Each year, PTSD staff members spend much of their personal money to buy supplies for their classroom and students. Again this year, the education foundation would like to show them how much their selfless efforts are appreciated.

As the community celebrates National Teacher Appreciation week from May 6-10, it encourages students, parents and staff members to complete the online entry form and nominate your favorite  teacher or staff member for a Pay It Forward Bonus.

One staff member from each building will be selected from the entries submitted and will received a $100 gift card for supplies in their classroom.

"Share your thoughts on what makes your nominee  special to students in our community. You can enter as many times as you wish. The winner will be randomly selected from each building's entries!" organizers said. 

The deadline to enter your favorite staff member is 4 p.m. May 17.
