Paper Shredding Event Will Guard Against Identity Theft

PETERS TOWNSHIP, PA - If you’re concerned about identity theft, here’s your opportunity to ward against it potentially happening. The Better Business Bureau will hold a free paper shredding event April 21 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Peters Township Library

Here’s how the event will work: Bureau volunteers will guid cars through a moving line, take their disposable items, shred them and then distribute goodie bags with educational ID theft and fraud prevention materials.

Each vehicle may dispose of a maximum of three boxes and/or bags of paper based materials.
