Peters Community Day Attractions, Entertainment Revealed

PETERS TOWNSHIP, PA - This year's Peters Township Community Day will feature more than 160 food, craft, game and vendor booths. The even will be held June 20 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., with a fireworks display at 9:30 p.m.

The booths will be open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The Community Day raffle will be held during that time as well, with a winner selected ever five minutes.

Entertainment includes:

• Trackless train by Triple A Express, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• Joe King, chainsaw tree carving, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• DJ by Sound Waves Event Group, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• WJPA-AM broadcast, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
• Superhero and princess character visits, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
• Airbrush tattoo artists, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
• ABC Balloon Twisting balloon art, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
• PGH Party Creations face painting, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
• Nick DiSanto One-Man Band, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
• Howard Mincone, physical comic and juggler, 2 p.m. to 4 p.m

At the amphitheater:

• Billy Heb magic show 12 p.m. to 12:40 p.m.
• Millennium Marionetttes pupper show, 2 p.m. to 2: 45 p.m.

Parking at Peterswood Park is limited, but shuttle service will be available at Peters Township Middle School on East McMurray Road.
