Peters Excels In Pennsylvania PSSA Exams

PETERS TOWNSHIP, PA - It’s quite the feather in the cap of the Peters Township School District and its students. The district this ranked first in the combined all-grades-all subject PSSA test scores.
The annual Pennsylvania System School Assessment is a standards-based test designed to provide insights into student and school performance related to the attainment of academic proficiency standards. The tests in English, math and science identify what a student should know and be able to do at varying grade levels.
Students in grades 3-8 is assessed in English and math, while every student Language Arts and Math, while students in grades 4-8 are assessed in science.

“This accomplishment is less about the numbers and more about the efforts of our staff and the successes of our children.” Peters superintendent Jeannine French said in a statement. “Our parents send us children ready to learn and our staff spends countless hours working to teach, support and make a difference in the education of our students.”
