Peters To Hold Car Seat Safety Check
Want to find out if your car seat is safely installed? Here's your chance.
PETERS TOWNSHIP, PA - Want to make sure your car seat is installed correctly? The township is holding a car seat safety check Dec. 13 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the township fire department on East McMurray Road.
To schedule an appointment, please call 724-941-4176. There is no charge for the service, which will be performed by certified car seat technicians who recommend:
- Keeping the harness snug. It should not be able to pinch more than an inch at the shoulder.
- Keeping the harness at or below the shoulders for rear facing or at or above for forward facing.
- Ensuring the chest clip is on the chest.
