Peters Township Man Dies In House Fire
Washington County Coroner Tim Warco said the cause and manner of death for the elderly man is pending.

An 80-year old Peters Township man died in a house fire Easter morning, Washington County Coroner Tim Warco said in a release.
Warco said Robert Gary McLaughlin, of Locust Drive, died around 7:40 a.m. Sunday.
“The victim was removed from his home by firefighters responding to a structure fire at the residence and was transported to Canonsburg (General) Hospital Emergency Room,” the release stated.

The cause and manner of McLaughlin’s death is pending.
Peters Township, North Strabane Township and Upper St. Clair fire departments all responded to the incident.

The fire is under investigation.
