Public Input Sought On New Peters Community Park
What type of facilities would you like to see at the park the township is developing?

PETERS TOWNSHIP, PA - Have any thoughts on what type of amenities should be found in the new township park being developed on the site of the old Rolling Hills Country Club? You have a chance to voice your input next week.
The township is holding a public meeting Oct. 10 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. in council chambers. Residents are invited to discuss the proposed park facilities along with the proposed road and intersection from East McMurray Road and Center Church.
The township owns half of the former country club property. The Peters Township School District owns the other half and is building a new high school on it.

A contest is being held to name the new community park, with a prize of $250 going to the winner.
The deadline to submit the entry form is Oct. 16. The contest is open to all township residents kindergarten-age and older, but township employees are ineligible to participate. Only one entry per person will be accepted. If there are duplicate suggested park names submitted and that name is chosen for the park, the winner will be selected via a random drawing.
