Seven Candidates Seeking Peters Township School Board Posts
Four incumbents and three newcomers are seeking nomination in the May 21 primary.

Four sitting Peters Township school directors and three newcomers are seeking nomination for four seats on the board in the May 21 primary.
Six of the candidates have cross-filed, and are seeking to secure the Democratic and Republican nominations.
Current board President Cindy Golembiewski, current vice president Lori Cuervo and directors David Paul Hvidos and Sue Smith all cross-filed.

Newcomers Lisa Anderson and Rebecca Bowman have also cross-filed for the May 21 primary.
Another man, Jamison Hardy, is on the ballot as a Republican only.

Anderson is listed on the Peters Township School District website as the secretary of the PTA Area Council.
Bowman is general counsel for Vanadium Enterprises Inc. and has served as the National History Day mentor for Peters Township High School since 1999.
Hardy is listed as the Eastern region vice president of the English District LCMS as well as the president of the McMurray Rotary Club for 2012-13.
