SPACE LAB @ St Louise de Marillac in Upper St. Clair/Peters Area

Get ready for an awesome week of
intergalactic adventure! We will take on the role of space explorers
discovering our local and not-so-local planets and stars. Find out what
it would be like to spend a day on Venus, what makes our sun special and
more! We’ll devote plenty of time to the many mysteries, amazing
discoveries and strangest theories about space including the science of
black holes, space time distortion, theories about inter-dimensional
travel, wormholes, and even alternate realities! We’ll bend reality with
an exploration of holograms, create laser force fields, trap light in
seemingly infinite loops and launch meteorites as we study impact
craters. We’ll also brush up on the current science about planet Mars as
we consider what will be needed for a planned human settlement on the
red planet. There will be plenty to build, test, explode, launch,
create, explore and take home! And of course, we’ll revive our popular
summer traditions such as the rocket launch and other popular activities
of our group’s choosing!
