Walnut Grill Continues To Expand
The locally based restaurant chain is adding another location in southwestern Pennsylvania.
WASHINGTON, PA —Walnut Grill will open a sixth southwestern Pennsylvania location next year in the Old Mill Shopping Mall. It will be housed in the former Max & Erma's location.
The new restaurant will be the company’s sixth location in the area. Other Pittsburgh locations include Bethel Park, Bridgeville, Fox Chapel, Robinson, and Wexford. In addition to the Pittsburgh locations, the company also owns and operates four Walnut Grill locations in the St. Louis metro area.
“It may be odd to open three new locations within the COVID-19 pandemic”, Kirk Vogel,Walnut Grill Holdings president, said in a release.

“However, we believe restaurants will be around long after the pandemic and we want to be there when our guests are ready to gather again with friends and family. We are looking forward to opening Walnut Grill’s newest location and welcoming guests from South Strabane Township, Washington and nearby communities."
