What's Up Monday: Last Day to Apply for Open Peters Council Position
Those interested in serving need to have their letters of interest in by the end of the business hours Monday.
Ever thought about serving on Peters Township Council?
Because there is an open position, and today is the last day to put in your application.
"The position of council at-large is currently vacant and will need to be filled for a least the remainder of 2013," township Manager Michael Silvestri said.
The seat on council is vacant after the unexpected death of longtime Councilman Robert Atkison Sr. earlier this month.
Those interested in serving on council should send a letter of interest with a brief background, as well as resume, to 610 E. McMurray Road, McMurray PA 15317. Letters should be addressed to council.

Again: Letters of interest must be in before the end of the business day Monday.
