PHILADELPHIA ? A Pennsylvania state representative is being sought by Philadelphia Police after authorities alleged he violated a protection from abuse order.

The Philadelphia Inquirer reports an arrest warrant has been issued for State Rep. Kevin Boyle (D-Philadelphia).

Philadelphia Police said the warrant was issued after Boyle, 44, violated a protection from abuse order, according to Fox 29.

Boyle is the brother of Congressman Brendan Boyle (D-2nd District) and has served Pennsylvania's 172nd District in Harrisburg since 2011.

Action News reports Boyle was charged with harassment and violation of a protection from abuse order after showing up at his wife's house in 2021, but those charges were dropped.

And in February, video surfaced of Boyle in a Montgomery County bar, showing him arguing with employees and threatening to use his position to close the bar.
