Biden Calls Philly Fans Most 'Obnoxious,' 'Informed:' Report

During a stop touting a restaurant relief program, President Biden called Philly fans the "most informed" and "most obnoxious."

PHILADELPHIA — Philadelphia sports fan are infamous for their passion. And even the president has a take on Philly fans.

While touting the administration's restaurant relief program in Washington DC Wednesday, President Joe Biden ran into a woman from Philadelphia.

When chatting with her, Biden took a bit of a swipe at Philly sports fans.

"Philadelphia fans are the most informed and the most obnoxious in the world," he told her. "They know everything."

Biden's Philadelphia bona fides include his wife Jill Biden who grew up in the Philadelphia suburbs and his apparent time spent in the city's Fishtown neighborhood.
