Dog Adopted After Nearly 3 Years Of Shelter Life In Philly

After nearly three years of living in the Pennsylvania SPCA's shelter, Bentley has found his forever home.

PHILADELPHIA — After living in the Pennsylvania SPCA's shelter for almost three years, a dog has finally found a forever home.

The SPCA announced over the weekend that Bentley, who had been at the shelter for a whopping 1,076 days, was adopted.

"It's bittersweet, but more than that, it's beautiful," the SPCA said of Bentley's adoption. "We will miss him, but more than that, we will celebrate that we didn't give up - you never gave up."
