Eastern PA Nor'easter 2020: Live Updates

PENNSYLVANIA — A Nor'easter brought significant snow accumulation and winds to Eastern Pennsylvania on Wednesday into Thursday.

A winter storm warning goes through Thursday mid-morning.

The storm was predicted to bring nearly 2 feet of snow on some parts of Eastern Pennsylvania. See the latest snow totals here.

As of Thursday morning, PECO was reporting just 538 customers without service across its coverage area.

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation and the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission had both issued advisories against travel during the storm. Vehicle restrictions were announced, and are being updated here.

Speed were reduced to 45 mph on interstates 76, 95, 295, 476, 676, U.S. Routes 1, 30, 202, 422 and State Routes 63, 100 Spur and 309.

Meanwhile, PECO said its crews are ready to respond. The utility said its crews and contractors are preparing to respond to potential outages. "In the event of outages, our crews will work around the clock until every last customer is restored," PECO said.
