Guy Fieri Opening Taco, Burger Spots In Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA — Guy Fieri — along with his sunglasses, bleached hair, and culinary style — is coming to Philadelphia.

The Emmy-award winning chef, restaurateur, New York Times Best Selling author and TV host recently announced that he will open two restaurants at a hotel-casino planned to open near the stadiums in South Philadelphia.

Live! Casino & Hotel Philadelphia is set to open in early 2021 and will feature a taco spot and a burger spot from the larger-than-life chef.

"Philly folks know their food and I’m happy to be a part of the scene with my Taco and Burger Joints," Fieri. "Philly’s always been a big time stop on the way to Flavortown!"

On the taco menu, expect items such as scratch-made tacos, salsas and guacamole paired with refreshing margaritas, a selection of Mexican beer and some classic Guy cocktails. At the Burger Joint, diners will find smash burgers featuring Donkey sauce, S.M.C (super melty cheese), signature seasoned fries, and hand spun shakes on the menu.

Both restaurants will serve as key venues at the 10th Street Market in Live! Casino & Hotel Philadelphia, joining previously announced local favorites Lorenzo and Sons Pizza, Sang Kee Noodle Bar & Kitchen and Termini Brothers Bakery.

Inspired by the many great food markets in Philadelphia, guests will be able to enjoy a wide variety of food offerings, as well as a bar open 24/7 to satisfy any sports fan or late-night gamer.
