'Jurassic Quest' Drive-In Coming To Philadelphia Amid High Demand
The dinosaur themed attraction was to be held in Montgomery County, but overwhelming demand has moved it to South Philadelphia.
PHILADELPHIA — A "dinosaur safari" is coming to Philadelphia after it was met with overwhelming demand in the suburbs, according to organizers.
Jurassic Quest, a traveling drive-thru exhibit featuring life-sized moving replicas of ancient creatures, will now be held at the Wells Fargo Center lots in south Philadelphia after initially scheduled to take place at Oaks Expo Center in Montgomery County.
The event will be held from Sept. 4 through Sept. 13. Tickets previously sold for the Montgomery County location at Oaks Expo Center will be honored at Wells Fargo on the same day and time.

"Jurassic Quest worked in collaboration with leading paleontologists to ensure each dinosaur was painstakingly replicated in every detail," the group said. "Guests will have the chance to drive through realistic scenes, without leaving their own vehicles, depicting how we understand dinosaurs looked and moved. In addition to the life-like dinosaur exhibits, there will be opportunities to visit with our one-of-a-kind baby dinosaurs and our team of dino trainers as well as the chance to capture the moment with a safari-style photo of your vehicle and family transported back in time via a Jurassic setting complete with a dinosaur backdrop."
An audio tour accompanies guests as they drive through the exhibit, featuring fun facts and educational details. The speed limit is 5 miles per hour.
