Kelly Drive To Have 24/7 Lane Closure Though June

Philadelphia Water Department work will force a 24-hour-a-day lane closure along a portion of Kelly Drive through early June.

PHILADELPHIA — A portion of Kelly Drive will have a lane closure in place through early June due to water main work, according to PennDOT.

The Philadelphia Water Department is planning a westbound lane closure on Kelly Drive.

The closure will go into effect on March 1 and be lifted on June 1.

Officials said the affected portion is between Ridge Avenue and Calumet Street.

The closure will be in place 24 hours a day.

Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because backups and delays will occur.
