Gates is ready to release his latest album, “I’m Him,” on Aug. 30. He’ll take this new album on tour around the United States, sharing some of his new work including the single “Push It,” which Gates revealed on June 28. The single has resonated with his fans, who know Gates for his autobiographical lyrics that talk about his own personal struggles.
With a music style that blends gangsta rap with Drake, Kevin Gates had his start releasing numerous mixed tapes that have gained him huge success on the rap circuit. The release of “Stranger Than Fiction” in 2013 hit the Top 40 on the Billboard 200. Gates followed this success in 2016 with his official platinum certified debut album, “Islah.” Since then the rapper has continued to make it into the top numbers of the charts with mixed tape hits such as “Luca Brasi” and “By Any Means.”

The tour gets underway on Oct. 12 in Chicago, with a final performance in Seattle on Nov. 30.
