Admission to the market is free, with carousel rides $3 each.

This year's market will have a slew of new safety precautions. Visitors will be required to social distance and wear masks while shopping for their loved ones. Vendors will be spaced out in a new layout - that will be located adjacent to the City Hall Courtyard.

In accordance with city and state guidelines, the Made in Philadelphia Holiday Market will return for the holiday season and feature a reduced number of vendors. All vendors will be spaced out throughout the park, and set-up at least ten feet apart from each other to allow for proper social distancing while shopping. Many vendors will offer contactless ways to shop and check-out.

Signage will remind shoppers of all precautions including frequent hand sanitizing, the necessity of face coverings, and social distancing six feet or more from other shoppers and visitors.

Guests that feel sick or have been in contact with a sick person are required to stay home.

Carousel operators will follow state and city guidelines and take all necessary precautions in response to coronavirus including less carousel seats, a crowd-controlled waiting line allowing proper social distancing and a strict cleaning protocol.

At the markets, visitors will have the unique chance to shop gifts and products that can’t be found at a usual shopping mall - including artwork, home goods, ornaments, toys, apparel, jewelry, decorations and more.

While Christmas Village spotlights gifts and unique finds from around the globe, the market gives attention to local vendors from Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware.

With the changes in the overall layout, weekday visits are strongly encouraged to avoid weekend crowds and waiting.

The market will be open 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday. Hours for Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Eve are 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The market will be closed Christmas Day.

Dilworth Plaza is located outside City Hall at 1 S. 15th Street in Philadelphia.
