Natasha Bedingfield Coming To Philadelphia's Union Transfer

PHILADELPHIA — After nine years, British pop sensation Natasha Bedingfield is releasing her next album, “Roll With Me.” She’ll perform songs both old and new in mid-October at the Union Transfer in Philadelphia.

After releasing her debut album, “Unwritten,” in 2004, Bedingfield became an instant international star. Selling over 2.3 million copies, the album earned her nominations in 2005 and 2006 at the Brit Music Awards for Best British Female Artist. This was followed in 2007 with a Grammy nomination for Best Female Pop Vocal Performance.

Bedingfield’s second studio album was met with just as much acclaim, with “N.B.” producing numerous top singles in the U.K., including “Soulmate” and “I Want To Have Your Babies.” The same album was released in the U.S. and Canada in 2008 under the title “Pocketful of Sunshine,” with a hit single of the same name.

Fans have been waiting eagerly for the release of Bedingfield’s fourth studio album, “Roll With Me” on Aug. 30. A strong female vocalist, her music style is R&B with a blend of soul and hip hop. In a statement about her upcoming album, Bedingfield says, "I wanted to make music that moves people and makes them move. It's bright and bold but in a way that is also raw and honest."
