Obama To Deliver DNC Speech From Philadelphia Museum Wednesday

PHILADELPHIA — As the Democratic National Convention is held digitally amid the coronavirus, one major player in the Democrat's campaign to elect former Vice President Joe Biden will be in Philadelphia Wednesday to deliver a speech.

Former President Barack Obama will give a speech as part of the convention's virtual schedule from the Museum of the American Revolution in Old City Philadelphia, according to CNN.

The Philadelphia Inquirer reports Obama's speech will emphasize "democracy itself is on the line in this election."

Obama's speech is expected to precede a speech by Kamala Harris, who has been tapped to be Biden's vice president, according to WHYY.
