Philadelphia's Bloody Weekend Continues As Six More Shot

The shooting of six people Sunday evening brings the total of people shot in Philadelphia over the weekend to around two dozen.

PHILADELPHIA, PA —Six people were shot Sunday evening in the city's Fairhill section. It was the third shooting with four or more victims in the city this weekend.

Police were called to West Clearfield and 8th Streets around 5:25 p.m..

They found six people with gunshot victims, all of whom were brought to Temple University Hospital.The victims ranged in age from 14 to 27.

None of their injuries are considered life-threatening. The six were shot by a gunman or gunmen in a car that drove by.

In a shooting early Saturday morning, four people were shot – one of whom was killed.

Meanwhile, early Friday morning, five men were shot as they stood in the courtyard of a building on the 900 block of South 5th Street.

There is no indication as of Sunday evening that the shootings are connected.
