The birthplace of the nation is one of the 20 best cities to celebrate Independence Day in the United States, according to WalletHub.
PHILADELPHIA — It's nearly time for barbecues, fireworks, parades, and all things America as we near the 4th of July holiday.
And luckily, Philadelphia is one of the best places to celebrate Independence Day in the nation, according to a new study from WalletHub.
WalletHub recently released its list of "2021’s Best & Worst Places for 4th of July Celebrations."

The list was created after experts looked at 23 metrics — such as average beer and wine prices, duration of fireworks shows, the Fourth of July weather forecast, and more — for 100 of the nation's largest cities to see how well they balance holiday cost and fun.
In the end, Philadelphia was ranked No. 20 on the list.

Philadelphia was ranked first when it comes to the legality of fireworks and the prevalence of affordable 4.5-star or higher rated restaurants.
It also ranked No. 5 in walkability and duration of fireworks shows, according to WalletHub.

The top five cities on the list are New York, New York; San Francisco, California; Chicago, Illinois; Minneapolis, Minnesota; and Atlanta, Georgia.
