Philly Woman Charged In Fatal Shooting Outside Of Delaware Mall
Delaware State Police said a 24-year-old Philadelphia woman shot and killed another woman near the Christiana Mall Monday afternoon.

PHILADELPHIA — A Philadelphia woman is accused of shooting another woman to death near the Christiana Mall in Delaware, according to authorities.
Delaware State Police said Shaidiah McNeair, 24, of Philadelphia, has been charged in connection with a homicide that occurred Monday afternoon near the mall.
Police were called to 800 Christiana Mall Road in Newark, Delaware just after 4 p.m.

Officers found a black Ford Fusion against a metal guardrail, and inside the vehicle was a 27-year-old woman unresponsive in the driver’s seat with an apparent gunshot wound to the upper body.
She was transported to Christiana Hospital, where she was later pronounced deceased. Authorities have not yet released the identification of the deceased woman.

Police learned a second person, later identified as McNeair, was inside the car and got out prior to the police arriving. Troopers canvassed the area and found her.
McNeair was taken into custody without incident.
Troopers searched also found a white plastic bag along an embankment with a handgun inside it.
McNeair was taken to Troop 2, where she interviewed and charged with felony manslaughter and felony possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.
She was held on $250,000 cash bond.
