Philly's Public Pools Begin Opening This Week

PHILADELPHIA — The heat is on, and it's a good thing Philadelphia's outdoor pools will open on a rolling basis beginning this week.

Sixteen public pools are expected to open by this weekend, with an additional 31 pools scheduled to open on a rolling basis over the next few weeks.

The pools will offer daily open swim and free swim lessons.

Residents can also stay cool and have fun this summer by visiting the more than 90 spraygrounds across the city. Spraygrounds are open seven days a week through Labor Day. Find a sprayground online here.
