Stolen Shiba Inu: Man Arrested, Dog Still Missing

A $1,000 reward is still available for the puppy's return. The Pennsylvania SPCA believe it was stolen in Philly with the intent to be sold.

PHILADELPHIA — Officials with the Pennsylvania SPCA in Philadelphia said a man has been arrested in connection with a puppy stolen from their Erie Avenue Headquarters last week.

The SPCA said it's believed the puppy was stolen with the intent to sell it.

While a person has been arrested, the dog is still missing.

According to the SPCA, a $1,000 still stands for the safe return of this puppy.

Anyone who may have purchased the puppy is urged to return it within the week.

"Charges will not be sought if the puppy is returned in that time frame, operating under the assumption the individuals who purchased the puppy did not realize it has been stolen," the SPCA said.

Philadelphia Police are questioning the man in custody, the SPCA said.
