Teen, Adult Shot Inside Popular Philly Donut Chain

A 13-year-old and an adult were shot while inside Federal Donuts at 7th Street and Fairmount Avenue, according to police.

PHILADELPHIA — A shooting inside a popular donut chain left a teenager and an adult hurt Thursday, according to Philadelphia Police.

The shooting occurred at about 1 p.m. inside the Federal Donuts store, located at 701 N. Seventh St.

A 13-year-old boy was shot in his left leg and an adult man was shot multiple times.

The boy is in stable condition, however the adult is listed as critical, police said.

Police said the boy and adult were not related, and that the boy was eating in the restaurant with his family.

Police have not made any arrests nor have they found the weapon.
