Allegheny County 911 Service Disrupted By High Winds

PITTSBURGH, PA — High winds in Allegheny County are causing intermittent interruptions for those calling 911, according to county emergency services chief Matt Brown.
If a 911 call does not connect, Brown advised calling the 10-digit emergency services number at
412-473-3056.
As of 11 a.m., Duquesne Light reported about 7,500 customers without power in southwestern Pennsylvania.

The National Weather Service is forecasting a gradual decrease in winds this afternoon.
