Altercation Turns Deadly At Pittsburgh Gas Station

PITTSBURGH, PA ? Police are investigating a fatal shooting following an altercation at a gas station in Lawrenceville on Tuesday.

The incident occurred at a Sunoco station on 50th Street at around 4 p.m.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. He later was identified by the Allegheny County Medical Examiner's Office as Michael Ehlinger, 56, of Stanton Heights.

The suspect called police and stayed on the scene. He has not been identified.

The investigation is ongoing.
