Amazon To Open Massive Delivery Center In Pittsburgh
The e-commerce behemoth plans to set up shop in Lawrenceville.

PITTSBURGH, PA — Amazon has chosen a prime location for a new delivery station in the city. The e-commerce company will take over all 260,000 square feet of the former Sears Outlet on 51st Street in Lawrenceville.
The new facility is expected to open next year.
The delivery station "will power Amazon's last-mile capabilities to speed up deliveries in the Pittsburgh area," an Amazon spokesman told the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. He added that the center will support a growing number of customer orders in the city.
