Beloved West View Bar Reopening After Long Hiatus

WEST VIEW, PA - When a devastating fire extensively damaged Danny's Bar & Grill on Center Avenue in July 2018, there were doubts that the neighborhood tavern would ever reopen. Those doubts can now be erased as Danny's has completed an exhausting renovation project that has taken close to two years to complete.

Danny's announced on its Facebook page that it will reopen on Feb. 23. The bar had planned to open last fall, but needed to obtain various approvals related to the bar's reconstruction.

"It’s been very hard for us since we have been ready to open for the last 3 months. Today with
the help from all the great people in the West View borough building we got the incredible news that we can open back up," the post stated.

"It’s been a long 594 days. Something that I would not wish on anyone. And with the strength and encouragement we received from our families and friends we were able to rebuild a great brand new place for people to come relax and enjoy themselves. Can’t wait to see all the smiling faces again."
