Body Of Pittsburgh-Area Native's Husband Pulled From Condo Ruins

The body of Ruslan Manashirov, 36, has been identified, authorities said. The body of his wife, who is presumed dead, remains missing.

MIAMI, FL — The body of a Pittsburgh-area native's husband was found in the rubble of the collapsed condominium in Surfside, FL. Miami-Dade County police said the body of Ruslan Manashirov, 36, has been positively identified.

The body of his wife Nicole Doran-Manashirov, presumed to also have died in the collapse, has yet to be found. She originally was from South Park.

The couple, who were married in May, lived on a beach-view unit on the building's seventh floor.

Ruslan Manashirov was a general practitioner and a native of Azerbaijan. Nicole Manashirov was a nurse.

The death toll from the building collapse two weeks ago now stands at 64, with as many as 76 people still missing. Authorities have transferred from a search and rescue to a search and recovery mission.
