PITTSBURGH, PA - The popular Downtown emporium Eide's Entertainment will remain open despite the recent death of owner Greg Eide. The move was announced over the weekend on the shop's Facebook page.

"Eide's Entertainment will continue to do business under the new ownership of Ken Kropf and Jim Turoczy, two forty year plus employees, of the late owner and founder Greg Eide, with the continued expertise of the veteran staff," the post stated.

Eide, known for decades for operating a shop specializing in comic books, records and other entertainment products, died at 69 last month of coronavirus complications.
