Elton John to Perform In Pittsburgh

PITTSBURGH, PA — Elton John will make what likely is his last appearance in Pittsburgh next year. John, 74, announced the final dates for his Farewell Yellow Brick Road Tour on Wednesday, and it includes a stop in Pittsburgh at PNC Park on Sept. 16, 2022.

Tickets go on sale for the general public on June30, although they can be purchased on several presale dates before then.
John began the tour in 2018. It was interrupted last year by the coronavirus outbreak.

"The shows that I announce today will be my final tour dates ever in North America and Europe. I’m going to go out in the biggest possible way, performing at my very best, with the most spectacular production I’ve ever had, playing in places that have meant so much to me
throughout my career," John said in a news release.
"I can’t wait to see you all on the road one last time. This has been an incredible tour so far, full of the most amazing highs, and I look forward to making more wonderful memories with you at these final shows."
