Ex-Steelers Star Says He'll Speak At Trump Latrobe Rally

A well-known former Steelers player claims he will address the crowd at former President Donald Trump's rally in the Pittsburgh area.

PITTSBURGH, PA ? Former Pittsburgh Steelers star Antonio Brown claims he will return to Western Pennsylvania Saturday to speak at former President Donald Trump's scheduled rally in Latrobe.

In a social media post Thursday, Brown, known more in recent years for his erratic behavior than his NFL career, displayed what he claims is an email saying he has been invited to speak at the event at the Arnold Palmer Regional Airport.

?We are excited to have you provide remarks in the pre-program ahead of President Donald J. Trump?s president Donald J. Trump?s Rally in Latrobe, PA on Saturday, October 19, 2024,? the purported email states.

There is nothing in the post to indicate that the invitation came from Trump's campaign, which has yet to release a list of who will speak before the Republican presidential nominee takes the stage.

Brown said in a separate post that he and former Steelers running back Le'Veon Bell will hold a tailgate party in an Acrisure Stadium parking lot before the Steelers host the New York Jets Sunday night.

Brown said that people who register to vote at the event will get a photo opportunity with him and Bell.
