Former Pirates Pitcher Guilty On Sexual Assault Charges

Former Pittsburgh Pirates Pitcher Felipe Vazquez was found guilty of inappropriate contact with an underage girl.

PITTSBURGH, PA — Former Pirates pitcher Felipe Vazquez was found guilty of sexual assault
charges. He had been accused of having sex with a 13-year-old girl in 2017.

The former all-star was found guilty of 10 criminal counts, including statutory sexual assault, sexual abuse of children and indecent assault of a minor under
16.

Vazquez was found not guilty on 10 charges of unlawful contact or communication with the girl, the outlet reported.
