Former Station Square Club Owner Sentenced After Drug Charge Plea

Vernon Jackson once operated two Station Square nightclubs.

BROOKLINE, PA - A Brookline man who formerly ran two Station Square nightclubs was sentenced to 16 months in prison after pleading guilty to an intent to distribute cocaine charge. Vernon Jackson, 50, also was sentenced to six years of supervised release.

Jackson's penalty for committing the offense while on federal supervised release will be determined at a later date.

According to U.S. Attorney Scott Brady's office, Pittsburgh narcotics detectives executed a search warrant at Jackson's residence in March and found multiple bags of cocaine, two digital scales and drug packaging materials.

Jackson was arrested while on probation for a previous drug conviction that resulted in a 151-month sentence that later was reduced. That conviction was on charges Jackson sold cocaine and heroin out of two Station Clubs he ran, Chauncy's and Rock Jungle.
