Former WTAE-TV Personality Dies
One of the station's pioneering broadcasters has passed away.
PITTSBURGH, PA — Former WTAE-TV talk show host Jean Connelly has died, the station announced. She was 97.
One of the station's first employees in 1958, she hosted "The Jean Connelly Show" from 1960 through 1973.
In 1975, she became WTAE’s director of public service, a position she held for 13 years.
