The weather service advises taking steps now to protect tender plants from the cold. To prevent
freezing and possible bursting of outdoor water pipes they should be wrapped, drained, or allowed to drip slowly. Those that have in-ground sprinkler systems should drain them and cover above-
ground pipes to protect them from freezing.
April (snow) showers bring May flowers? It's true, we have some light snow in the forecast for Wed morning! While the snow gets lots of attention, the main story will be the chilly temps arriving with the snow. Wind chills will be in the 20s and teens by Thursday morning. pic.twitter.com/t3mkF3VDdf
