Health Department Closes Pittsburgh Eatery
The Allegheny County Health Department has ordered the closure of a Pittsburgh eatery for health violations.

PITTSBURGH, PA — The Allegheny County Health Department has ordered the closing of the Gold Door in Homewood for numerous health violations.
A recent inspection found the eatery to be operating without a valid health permit, failure to submit plans prior to operating a food facility, failure to request a pre-operational inspection, and lack of hot water.
A sewage leak was discovered in the basement.

There also were food hot-holding temperature violations, food cold holding temperature
violations, lack of refrigeration, non-operational toilet in the male toilet room, lack of water at the kitchen 3-compartment sink, damaged floors, and missing electrical covers.
