Health Department Orders Closure Of South Side Club

PITTSBURGH, PA — The Boom Boom on Carson Street in the city's South Side, has been closed by the Allegheny County Health Department.
A recent inspection found that the club had inadequate pest control, inadequate cleaning and sanitization of food contact surfaces, lack of adequate toilet facilities, and service of liquor from an unknown source.
The club also was operating without a health permit.
