Longtime Pittsburgh Talk Show Host Off The Airwaves
A veteran Pittsburgh broadcaster's show abruptly vanishes from a Pittsburgh radio station.
PITTSBURGH, PA — In March, WJAS-AM heralded the arrival of two Pittsburgh-area women to boost its conservative talk show programming. Three months later, both are no longer with the station.
Last month,Wendy Bell was removed from the WJAS lineup, with her 9 a.m. to noon shift filled by nationally syndicated talk show host Glenn Beck. Now, Rose Tennent, who followed Bell on the air from noon until 3 p.m., seems to have lost her show as well.
Tennent's page on the station's website has been taken down, and the station's lineup page now features syndicated talk show host Dan Bongino in her time slot.
