The state Health Department permitted the temporary changes under Gov. Tom Wolf's coronavirus disaster emergency declaration. Voters earlier this month approved a change in the state constitution that such declarations can't continue for more than three weeks unless the Legislature agrees.
The health committee also added a provision that would loosen the rules under which contaminants in medical marijuana necessitate it to be destroyed.
