Million-Dollar Winning Lottery Ticket Sold In Allegheny County

PITTSBURGH, PA — A scratch-off "Mining for Millions" lottery ticket for a $1 million jackpot was sold at the UPMC Mercy Hospital gift shop, Pennsylvania Lottery officials said.

The store will receive a $5,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket. The ticket must be claimed and validated, lottery officials said

The winner has one year from the game's end-sale date to do that before the prize expires.
