No Worries: Just A Bear Traipsing Through Pittsburgh Backyard
Everyone, just be cool. It's a bear going about his business.

PITTSBURGH, PA – A 200-pound black bear has been spotted wandering about in a residential neighborhood. Police and local animal control agents say they have the situation under control.
The bear, they say, is "just simply looking for food."
The Pittsburgh Public Safety Department reported Wednesday that the bear was seen in a wooded area between Baker and Antietam streets along the Morningside and Highland Park border. And, no, it was not an escapee from the Pittsburgh Zoo.

"This is a wandering bear," officials said in a report posted to Facebook. "If residents see him, do not alert him, just let him be. He is not considered to be a danger to the community."
Officials also suggested residents in the area remove sources of food, such as garbage cans and bird feeders, from outside of their homes. Otherwise, well, they may have company.
