Parker's Restaurant Close To Opening In Brookline
The popular eatery is relocating from Dormont.

BROOKLINE, PA - The wait continues for the eagerly-anticipated relocation of a Dormont eatery to Brookline Boulevard, but it shouldn’t last much longer. Parker’s is preparing for its debut in a larger space than it currently occupies.
Parker’s signage is on the building at 600 Brookline Boulevard that most recently housed the Smoq Pit, a barbeque restaurant, and owner Luke Parker and his family recently applied painted the exterior warm shades of blue. But when will the place open?
“We will continue to work as hard and fast as we can to be open soon,” a post on the eatery’s Facebook page stated. “No official date exists however we are very close. We will try to update as much as possible and we cannot thank you guys enough for the support during this process.”

Parker opened the restaurant on Glenmore Avenue in Dormont October 2014. The space formerly was occupied by the hot dog shop Dormont Dogs, which closed in 2013. The Dormont location closed in May to allow Parker to concentrate on the new location.
Parker grew up in Brookline, and his parents still live there in a house they purchased more than 30 years ago.
